COACH PURNELL

For the last fifteen years, Coach Purnell has been coaching private lessons in Kansas City, Omaha, and the Chicago area. He is one of the top students of his craft, always having the desire to learn more. His passion for kicking and punting is contagious. Coach Purnell excels in teaching middle and high school student-athletes how to increase their accuracy, power, and consistency. Coach Purnell's work ethic, discipline, and focused goal setting has consistently helped students-athletes improve their craft.

DAVID PURNELL

 Signed a free agent contact with the Green Bay Packers in 1999

Signed to Arena Football League Des Moines Barnstormers in 2001

Walk-on, four-year starter at Northwest Missouri State University 1995-1999

Played in and won two Division II National Championships 1998 & 1999

Broke numerous  NWMSU records as well as four Division II records

Was the all-time learning scorer at NWMSU (426 points. That record has since been broken.)

Before walking on at Northwest Missouri State University, David kicked one year of high school football his senior year. He played three years of high school rugby where he worked diligently on perfecting his kicking and punting technique. 

I've had the pleasure of knowing David Purnell for over 20 years. As with most athletes that have perfected their craft, David studied and trained his way to become a legitimate expert in the art of kicking. As a result, he became a great clutch kicker and a huge part of championship teams at Northwest Missouri State University. In addition, David's legendary work ethic was a great influence on his teammates and together they ascended to the elite of college football. With David, you will not only get great kicking instructions but also thoughtful teaching in the lessons of life.
